Ingredients in our Cartridges
Our cartridges contain nicotine. The percentage of nicotine in our cartridges very from 0-1.6%.We compare our strengths to this chart. We have calculated total mg of 10 cigarettes based on equivalent to one of our cartridges based on consumers rating our cartridges to equal about 10 cigarettes in puffs consumed. We are not scientist or chemist and while there are some estimates that say the actual nicotine inhaled in a cigarette is far less than its actual content the following information on the comparision between electronic cigarettes and conventional cigarettes have been made in good faith and judgement. The following information on nicotine content has been cited.
"The intake of nicotine from electronic cigarettes appears to be substantially less than acceptable standards already in the marketplace. For instance, the consumption of a tobacco cigarette delivers about 1-1.5 mg of nicotine; with the average US smoker consuming 13.9 cigarettes per day, they consume 14-21 mg of nicotine per day. Depending on the smoking cessation product, labeling suggests consumption of 6-48 mg of nicotine per day. By comparison, an electronic cigarette cartridge, depending on manufacturer and cartridge style, produces 0-16 mgs of nicotine when fully consumed by approximately 300 puffs. A recent industry study indicates the average electronic cigarette user takes 62.8 puffs per day. This suggests the average electronic cigarette smoker is consuming 3.36 mg of nicotine per day, far less than that typically consumed when using tobacco cigarettes or smoking cessation products." - ECAASSOC.ORG

Our cartridges contain mostly Propylene Glycol a popular additive in a number products including special effect fog and smoke machines, natural extract food additives, and cosmetics. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined propylene glycol to be "generally recognized as safe" for use in food, cosmetics, and medicines. Propylene Glycol is the common ingredient in all electronic cigarettes because of its ability to produce visible vapor which resembles smoke. Health Risks & Therapeutic Usage of Nicotine [wiki]
Nicotine is considered by the health industry as habit forming and addictive. While the most current studies indicate that that nicotine, on its own, does not promote the development of cancer in healthy tissue and has no mutagenic properties, but does speed growth and migration of existing cancerous cells, as well as turning some pre cancerous cells cancerous. Nicotine is an alkaloid and acts as a stimulant in mammals. Nicotine according to many has very powerful effects on arteries throughout the body. Nicotine is a stimulant, it raises blood pressure, and is a vasoconstrictor, making it harder for the heart to pump through the constricted arteries. Nicotine is toxic in high levels and should not be handled or ingested by children.
The primary therapeutic use of nicotine is in treating nicotine dependence in order to eliminate smoking with its risks to health. Controlled levels of nicotine are given to patients through gums, dermal patches, lozenges, substitute cigarettes or nasal sprays in an effort to wean them off their dependence. The director of National Institute on Drug Abuse of United States, reported that nicotine in cigarettes is not the directly deadly killer. The real killers are the carbon monoxide, smoke particles and tar generated by the smoke.
The e-Cigarette Background
The "Smoore" E-cigarette is a non-flammable electronic atomizing/nebulizing device, utilizing advanced microelectronic technology and supercritical physical atomized technology to atomize in a disposable cartridge. The electronic cigarette was developed in China in the late 1990's and has been selling in many countries all over the world over the past few years. Over the past couple years the technology has greatly improved the Electronic Cigarette. The E-Cigarette offers smokers the option of safely satisfying their desire for nicotine while regaining their freedom lost due to ever-expanding restrictions on the use of cigarettes and cigars in public places. To be a new hi-tech electronic product, the electronic cigarette gives you more choices instead of smoking.
Since the electronic cigarette does not contain any tobacco, it is not subject to tobacco-related regulations and restrictions on usage. The e-cigarette cartridge consists of food additives and natural spices. The generated steam fog is without carcinogenic substances such as tar, and nitrogen dioxide, it will not have second-hand smoke. The way of using this product introduces nicotine into the body similar to a cigarette while imitating smokers' usual smoking habits ( that is, holding cigarette in hand, keeping cigarette in the mouth ). The goal is that smokers will feel the same as smoking ordinary cigarettes and gradually shake off the dependence on cigarettes unconsciously replacing cigarettes with an electronic cigarette as an alternative to smoking.
Comparison of the e-Cigarette and an ordinary Cigarette
1. No tar, no carcinogenic substances.
2. No ignition, eliminating the over 4000 chemical substances, including carbon monoxide produced by an ordinary cigarette.
3. Harmless imitation smoke to others or the environment; No second-hand smoke.
4. Non-flammable. Could be used safely in most places designated as non-smoking.
5. Delivers nicotine into the body just as a real cigarette but through inhalation of vaporized nicotine. The "Smoore" E-cigarette is a kind of non-flammable cigarette. Its effectiveness is similar to ordinary cigarettes, refreshing smokers' mind, satisfying the craving for tobacco and nicotine, giving a euphoric and relaxed feeling without the harmful pollutants caused by tobacco cigarettes.
Why the E-Cigarette is not a Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) device
Nicotine Replacement Therapy, often referred to as NRT has been proven through studies to be the most effective way to control smoking and quit smoking by treating nicotine addiction through control doses of nicotine as a drug using Nicotine Patches, Gums and Inhalers. NRT methods are approved as smoking cession and are typically accompanied by support materials and programs to help users quit smoking and break the nicotine addiction. This method is based on the theory that reduction of nicotine levels over time smokers will gradually decrease dependence on nicotine, and smoking. The electronic cigarette is not a nicotine replacement therapy device. The electronic cigarette is not an NRT and has not been approved by the FDA as a smoking cession device which would classify it as a drug and require studies on the effectiveness. Many users have reported being able to quit smoking rapidly using an electronic cigarette but their nicotine habit has simply been replaced with the electronic cigarette as an alternative to smoking. The electronic cigarette is considered by some experts as a healthier alternative to smoking but most aggree not smoking cigarettes or using electronic cigarettes at all would be preferred health choice.
